Questions about GI boxes
What is the price of a GI modular box in India?
Our GI modular boxes cost ₹26 to ₹86 per piece including 18% GST, from the 1/2 way to the 18 way size. Electricians and contractors buying in bulk can ask for a wholesale rate.
What does “way” mean on a modular box?
It is the number of modules the box takes. A 4 way box fits a 4-module plate — for example four switches, or two switches and a 2-module socket. Always order the box in the same size as your plate.
Why choose a 0.8 mm GI box?
A box made from thicker sheet keeps its shape while the wall is plastered, so the plate sits flat and its screws hold. The galvanised (zinc) coating protects the steel from rust inside wet plaster and concrete.
What is the difference between a modular box, a junction box and a fan box?
A modular box holds the switches and sockets behind a modular plate. A junction box is where wires are joined or branched inside a wall or slab. A fan box is cast into the roof slab and has a hook rod to hang a ceiling fan.
Do you deliver GI boxes anywhere in India?
Yes — anywhere in India. Locally we deliver within 10 km of our shop on Tulsidham Road, Bharuch. Farther orders go by courier or transport: we confirm the charge after you order, and online orders of ₹10,000 or more are delivered free. You can also pick up from our shop.
Do I get a GST bill?
Yes. Every order comes with a proper GST invoice, so businesses can claim input tax credit.
